Jamie Joan Wolter, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was born to the late James and Alverna (Jackovich) Andersen on May 17, 1952 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Jamie married Carl Wolter Sr. on October 27, 1978 at St. John Lutheran Church in De Pere.

Jamie loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She especially loved playing Rummy with her kids, and Skip-Bo with her late husband. Jamie always fed the birds in her yard and enjoyed nature. Jamie loved her family and friends unconditionally and was always willing to help in any way possible.

Jamie is survived by her children, Jay Wolter, Britt (Judy) Wolter, Heidi (Dennis Basten) Capelle, Dawn (Kathleen Tonar) Capelle, and Carl (Kara) Wolter Jr.; grandson Jack Avery Wolter, her siblings, Sue Burch, Carole Van Hulst, Andy (Alice) Andersen, Steve (Judy) Andersen, Sally Kordus, Lynn (Dan) Peters, Jim (Lynn) Andersen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and members of her extended family. She is further survived by her beloved pomeranian, Tum Tum.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wolter Sr., her parents, sisters, Joanne (Dewey) Doolittle, Mary Dumas, brothers-in-law, Norb Van Hulst and Tom Burch.

Friends may come to call from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, WI. A funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation at 12:00 PM
