Janet M. Dartt, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Seymour, WI after a short illness. She was born to Phyllis and Alfred Diring on April 1, 1935, in Green Bay. Janet was a graduate of West High School.
Janet was an avid bowler and golfer during her younger years and loved to sing and write poetry. She also was a cat lover, who owned and loved several special babies over the years. She worked various jobs throughout her career, including the Kings X Restaurant, Shopko, The Joyce Shoppe, Fox Valley Auto Auction, IDC, and Badger Liquor.
Janet is survived by daughter Cathy Kandravi (Bill), son Jon Dartt (Annette), sisters Susan Brockelsby, Carolyn Peterson (Pete), Kathy Jarock (Len), grandchildren Akhmim Jones, Billie Jean Kandravi (Kelvin), Brandon Dartt (Lindsay), Austin Dartt (Brianna), Bobbie Lynn Kandravi (Jeremiah), Noah Dartt (Savanah), great-grandchildren Langston Jones, Lennon Jones, Logan Dartt, numerous neices, nephews and cousins, as well as special friends Sue Beaupre, Anne Elwell, Annette Paape, Carol Paque and her precious kitty, Benny.
She was preceded in death by parents Phyllis and Alfred Diring, brother George Diring, daughter Virginia Jones, son Bruce Dartt and ex-husband Kenneth Dartt.
Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St. De Pere, WI 54115, for visitation from 9:00am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00am on Saturday June 21, 2025.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital 9th floor and Dr. Hoppe for their care, and the staff at Good Shepherd Services Nursing Home in Seymour for their care and compassion during her time there.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local cat rescue, Happily Ever After (HEA) in her memory. She loved all cats and would be honored to have this support in her name. Go to www.heanokill.org. then select donate / in memory tabs.
