IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice L.
Reynard
May 23, 1948 – January 19, 2026
Janice "Jan" L. Reynard, 77, De Pere, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, following a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. Through every challenge, she remained a pillar of strength for her family, showing us all the true meaning of resilience.
For many years, Jan was a familiar and beloved face at the Bay Family Restaurant. She didn't just work there; she built a community. She loved the hum of the dining room, the laughter of the staff, and the stories shared by her regular customers. Even after retirement, the friendships she formed there remained a source of great joy.
At home, Jan found happiness in the simple, cozy comforts of life. She was a dedicated fan of daytime television, never missing a puzzle on Wheel of Fortune. Her home was a reflection of her gentle heart, filled with her cherished collection of porcelain cat figurines and the real-life cats she adored throughout the years. Above all else, her family was her world. She lived for the time spent with her children, sisters, and grandchildren, and they, in turn, were her greatest source of pride.
Whether she was offering a bit of wisdom or sharing a laugh, her impact on their lives is a legacy that will never fade. She is now peacefully reunited with her beloved husband, Frank, free from pain and at rest.
Jan is survived by her children; Dan (Vicki) Reynard and Julie (Al) Badgett, grandchildren; Jordan Blohm, Amanda Ridgley, McKenzie Vonhaden, Mason Vonhaden, Logan Vonhaden, and Caden (Sami) Badgett; great-grandchildren, Foster Vonhaden and Oliver Denamur; sisters Judy Fontana, Barb (Dave) Gordon, and Susan Montoya; sister-in-law Judy Reynard. Jan was preceded in death by her husband Frank; sister Nancy (Roger) Saxton; brothers-in-law Mike Reynard & Victor Montoya; sister-in-law Judy Greene and stepdaughter Mona Gordon.
The Reynard Family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice and Green Bay Oncology for their care and support of Jan and her family.
In accordance with Jan's wishes, a private family service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026.
