Jeanet M. Schuyler – Mittag, 83, Oneida, passed away peacefully at Good Shephard Nursing Home, Seymour, WI, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. The daughter of Anderson Schuyler, Jeanet was born on December 20th, 1940.

Jeanet attended Gillet High School and was employed with the Oneida Tribe for many years. Jeanet left her job with the tribe and became her son Brian's caretaker until his passing in 1999. After Brian's passing, Jeanet found joy in her retirement by attending Pow-Wows and taking long car rides and trips.

Jeanet is survived by her son Steve (Lisa) Mittag; granddaughters Kelly (Deandre) Howard, Shannon Abrams, Brittany (Kevin) Lubach, Brooke (Aaron) Sherry and Ashley Mittag. Her great-grandchildren Jacob, Raeauna, Gabby, Kyra, Sophia, Ava, McKenna, TJ, Hayes, and Leighton. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Brian; granddaughter Autumn; great granddaughter Maliyah; her father Anderson Schuyler; and siblings Dwight, Judy and Robert.

Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family.

Her family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who assisted in her care.

As our mother, grandmother and gigi starts her journey home, our hope is that she knows how much she will be missed here but our loved ones are waiting for her arrival.
