Jeanette M. King, 73, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born June 26, 1944 in Algoma, WI a daughter of the late August and Matilda (Barrette) DeVillers. On November 12, 1966, she married Elroy T. King, Sr at Blessed Sacrament Church, Green Bay.
Jeanette worked for Larsen Canning Company. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, doing crossword puzzles or any other kind of puzzle, going fishing, and going to her grandchildren's wrestling tournaments. Jeanette was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She was a faithful church member and was a member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary. Her greatest time though was spent with her grandchildren and children.
She is survived by her children: Ronald (Debra) King, Elroy (Corey) King, Jr, and Blaine (Shannon) King; her grandchildren: Brittony (Jaime) Cartwright, Melissa King, Joshua (Shannon) King, Zachary King, Brandon King, Destiny King, Erin Richardson, and Savannah King; her great grandchildren: Jacob, Alice, and Isaac Cartwright, Scarlett Palomaki, and baby girl King expected August 10, 2017. She is further survived by her sisters: Audrey (Roger) Lischka and Rosie Wenzel; her sisters-in-law Aggie DeVillers and Linda DeVillers; and her extended family. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Elroy T. King Sr, parents August and Matilda, brothers Augie DeVillers and Marvin DeVillers; brother-in-law Walter "Wally" Wenzel and nephew Wayne DeVillers.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, WI. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Holy Apostle Episcopal Church, 2937 Freedom Rd, Oneida, WI. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Church with Fr.
