Jeanne Marie (Knedle) Libert, 81, Green Bay, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, following a month long battle with Covid and other complications. The daughter of Matthias and Rosemary (Schott) Knedle was born on October 19, 1940.
Jeanne was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and Marquette University. She spent her career as a dental hygienist, all the while forcing her children to floss their teeth.
Family was Jeanne's passion. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, baking and crafting with everyone in her family. She loved to garden and tend to her birdfeeders, always keeping an eye out for cardinals.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Daniel Libert, Wendy Roma and Sarah (Randy) Kaufman; grandchildren, Hailey (Cody Vandehei) and Kirsten Libert, Josi and James Kaufman; great-grandchildren, Carson Vandehei and Oliver Van Eperen. She is further survived by her sister, Dr. Mary Ellen Murray; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Rosie; son-in-law, Bryan Roma; brother, Paul Knedle; brother-in-law, Peter Murray; former husband James Libert and other members of her extended family.
