Jennifer "Jenny" Ann Bromberek, age 50, was a gift from God delivered to Alyce (Vandehei) and Gerald Berken on February 5th, 1971. Jenny was called home to heaven, to stand by the Lord and watch over us, on May 4th, 2021.
During her time with us, Jenny touched an almost unimaginable number of lives, from friends made at Rhinelander High School to those she made while attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison, to those she made while working as a Pharmacist for 25 years in and around Green Bay.
On May 18th, 1996, Jenny married John Bromberek at St. Joseph Parish in Hobart, bringing into his life, more joy than she brought into any other.
Jenny was a dedicated football fan who loved watching the Packers and Badgers in person and on TV. Jenny enjoyed many hobbies and crafts. She loved camping and hiking with her family, and most recently, she had taken to making wooden signs for herself and her many friends.
Jenny is loved and will be deeply missed by those who persist beyond her passing. She is survived by her husband John and their two children Jackson (15) and Brice (13). She is also survived by her mother Alyce (Vandehei) Berken, seven brothers: John Berken, Larry Berken, Terry Berken, Joe Berken, Kelly Berken, Kevin Berken and Bob Berken; and one sister Mary (Berken) Weber.
Jenny will be greeted in heaven by her father, Gerald Berken, who preceded her in death.
Friends are invited to join the family from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 12th at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI 54115. Services will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, May 13th at St. Joseph Parish, 145 St Joseph Drive, Hobart, WI 54155.
