Jesse C. Milam, 38, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday March 23, 2009. He was born March 3, 1971 in Sturgeon Bay to Phyllis Metoxen and the late Jesse Milam. He was a graduate of East Green Bay High School, and had worked security for the Oneida Tribe and the Island Resort and Casino. Jesse liked to watch wrestling with his brother, and listen to 80's Heavy Metal. He is survived by his son Jason, his mother Phyllis (Duane) Bashell, Green Bay, his sister Jennifer Milam and her husband Tony Montgomery, Sturgeon Bay, and his brother Duane Bashell Jr. of De Pere. Jesse is further survived by two nephews; Taylor and Kenny, his aunts; Stella (Hank) Huff, Sturgeon Bay, Wanda Lemieux, Sturgeon Bay, his uncle; Bernie (Kitty) Weideman, Cleveland, OH., his cousins; Vicki, Bonnie, Margaret, and Leanne, Bernard Jr., and Karen. Jesse's step grandmother Annie Bashell, Sturgeon Bay, and his good friends; Joe DeBouche, and Chantelle Skenadore also survive. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Charles Milam, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his uncle John Weideman, and aunt Romona Waters. A graveside service for Jesse will be held at 10am on Saturday April 18, 2009 at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay. The RYAN FUNERAL HOME of De Pere is assisting the family with arrangements.
