Jesse Urena, 70, of Green Bay WI, passed away on Friday evening March 17, 2017, following a brief illness. Jesse was born July 12, 1946 to the late Jose and Isaura (Rodriguez) Urena.
Jesse served in the U.S. Army in his younger years and was a very proud veteran. In his later years, he was an over the road commodity relocator (long haul truck driver), most recently for Dedicated Systems Inc., where he retired from. Jesse really loved the freedom of the road. While retired, Jesse loved to cook meals for his significant other, travel and, spend time with nature. Jesse truly enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed landscaping, and doing renovations around the house.
Survivors include; Alice Marrick, his significant other of 28 years, and her family, his children; Joseph (Jojo), Jessika, Eric, Mark, and Jesse (Mika), as well as, many grandchildren and siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Isaura, sisters, Eva Urena Cantu, Dolores Urena Corrales, and brother, Jose Manuel Urena, as well as, his very good friend Tom Lassila. The family would like to thank, the staff at St. Vincent critical care, Dr. Alshahrouri, and Dr. Pradeep Giriyappa for all the care they gave Jesse. Service will be held at a later date with his family in Texas.
