JoAnn R. Moureau, 68, of De Pere, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Luxemburg, WI on June 7, 1943, daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Hendricks) Weininger. On August 25, 1962, she married Allen Moureau at St. Mary Catholic Church in Luxemburg.
JoAnn worked at Prange Way and the Ashwaubenon Press. She was a member of the German American Club. She enjoyed bowling, her world travels, playing cards, canning, volunteering at Nativity Parish, and spending time with her family.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 49 years Allen Moureau; her children: Yvonne Moureau, Patty (Jonathan) Becker, Roxanne Schultz, Daniel (MaryBeth) Moureau, and Amy (Michael) Lochowitz; eight grandchildren: Serena, Tarek, Samuel, Emily, Brandon, Brittany (fianc Leivur), Madeline, and Garrett. She is further survived by her two sisters Judy (Robert) Beirl and Joyce (Robert) Defnet; and brother Joseph (Barb) Weininger. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Bryan Schultz.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2011, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, corner of Cormier and Oneida St., Green Bay from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr. John "Jack" H. Harper officiating. Entombment will be in Nicolet Memorial Park & Mausoleum. JoAnn wanted to thank her sisters Judy and Joyce for all of the travels to 49 of the 50 states, her brother Joe for her time at his home in Door County, and her loving husband for taking such great care of her not just now but all 49 years.
