Joanne M Willems, 70, Green Bay, WI passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born September 1, 1944 in Appleton, WI a daughter of the late Richard and Bernice (Farley) Stadler. On April 28, 1962 she married Theodore Joe Willems at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Joanne enjoyed her travels to Florida for the winter, also traveling across the country and the world with Ted. When she didn't go to Florida Joanne liked to snowmobile with the kids in winter and go boating in the summer up north. Joanne always looked forward to the monthly lunches with her high school classmates. Joanne is survived by her husband of 52 years Theodore Joe of Green Bay; her three children: Patrick (Lu Ann) Willems of Hilbert, Carol (Paul) Primakow of Silver Cliff, WI, and Michael (Bonnie) Willems of Green Bay; eight grandchildren: Antone, Jacob, Tanya, Sarah, Sammy Jo, Charlie, Amber, and Nicole; six great grandchildren; sister Diane Welhouse Taylor of Neenah; step sisters Lois Welhouse Grigg of Grover, MO and Janice Welhouse of Oconto Falls; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Bernice Stadler; step father Sylvester Welhouse; grandson Brandon Maes; brother Robert Stadler; and father and mother-in-law Joe and Marian Willems. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Prayer service will be at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, corner of Oneida St and Cormier Rd. from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
