John C. Buckley, Jr, 85, died Monday, January 4, 2015. He was born to late John C. Buckley, Sr and Eileen Bourquin on October 13, 1930 in St. Paul, MN. John was a graduate of Cretin High School, St Paul, MN. After high school John joined the US Navy and served in the Korean War and following his service he graduated from the University of Minnesota. John's career was spent within the Railroad industry and after retiring he worked for 10 years with the IRS. He was parishioner of St Bernard Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at St Vincent DePaul and St Bernard Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Carol (nee Schwartz) Buckley, whom he married in 1953 in St. Paul; his sons: Daniel and Timothy of Green Bay; and David of California; and his grandchildren: Rachel, Joseph, Joshua, and Regina all of California. John was preceded in death by his parents: John and Eileen Buckley, Sr; and his brother Kenneth Buckley. As per John's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. He will be laid to rest in Ft.
