John Edward Falck, 86, passed away at Matthew's Assisted Living, Wrightstown, WI on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
He was born in Green Bay, WI on November 7, 1936 to Herbert and Lorraine Falck (nee Wegner). Baptized at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church.
John was a 1955 graduate of Dr. Martin Luther High School and a college graduate of Dr. Martin Luther College in 1959 where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education. He met Carole Louise Andresen in high school and seven years later married her. They were married on July 18, 1959 at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church and had four children.
John was principal and teacher for two years in Franksville, WI and principal and teacher in Eagle River, WI for 5 years. The rest of his career was spent in the insurance industry.
He was an active member of Saint Paul's Lutheran church in Green Bay and later in Morrison Zion Lutheran Church.
He served many years in various Lions' Clubs and as a volunteer with the Morrison Fire Department, where he served for 25 years. John served as a volunteer treasurer and on the Board of Regents at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
John enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife, Carole, children, Philip Falck, daughter Jane (Brian) Grobe, son Craig (Karen) Falck, son, Gary Falck. Grandchildren, Amanda (Benjamin) Kirchner, Samuel (Aneta) Falck, Jacob Falck, Benjamin (Michelle) Grobe, Nathaniel (Nicole) Grobe, Kristi Grobe, Jason (Morgan) Falck, Jaimie (Greg) McElrone, Shaina Hecker, Rebecca (Kenneth) Christel as well as 16 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Karla Hutchinson, Mark (Marnie) Falck, brother-in-law, Craig Winder, sister-in-law, Helen Andresen, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Victor Graf, brother-in-law, Richard Andresen, sister Rhoda Winder, brother-in-law, Max Hutchinson, grandson Corey McNeill.
Visitation will begin Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church (7395 County Rd W, Greenleaf, WI) from 5:30 to 8PM. Visitation will continue at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church, on Mon., Nov. 6, 2023, from 9 to 10:45AM. Service will begin at 11, with Pastor James Enderle officiating.
