John Nicholas Ferris passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born on December 18, 1948, to the late George and Aleta Ferris.

John traveled cross country for upstaging which serviced music concerts. He played several instruments favoring guitar. Family, friendship, traveling, and music were everything to him. He also loved listening to opera and was an avid fan of Wisconsin sports teams with a special love for the Packers.

He developed physical problems that made it impossible to continue driving truck for concert tours. His loves were his family, music and being on the road.

John is survived by his siblings, Roger (DeAnn) Ferris, Tom (Ginny) Ferris, Kate (Skip) Twitchell, Bill (Linda) Ferris, and George Ferris. He is further survived by nieces, Susan (Jon) Sauld, Tammy (Greg) Herpel and Leah (Aaron) Gilson; nephews, Lee Ferris (Maria Best), Nick (Lori) Ferris, Steve (Cleo) Ferris, Todd Ferris, Paul Ferris (Kori Becker) and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
