John Gerard Lindberg, resident of Oneida, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2023. He was born on February 6, 1964, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Lonny and Dorothy (Dittman) Lindberg.

John attended West De Pere High School. He was a mechanic all his life. He enjoyed exploring the great outdoors, riding his bicycle, telling stories, working with animals, and sharing Sunday suppers with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Lonny and Dorothy Lindberg; his uncle, Darryl Lindberg; his sisters, Mary Lindberg, Teresa Gill, and Erica Lindberg; his brother-in-laws, Doug Sterk, Marty Gill, and Arthur Figge; his nieces and nephews, Shane Lindberg, Rebekah Sickler, Jake Lindberg, Ryan Lindberg, and Vivica Miller; and his great nieces, Aria Lindberg, Eva Sickler, and Emma Lindberg.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Verner and Alice Lindberg and Charles and Rose Dittman; and his aunts and uncles, Alyce Densow, Marilyn Kluetz, Kathleen Humfeld, Donald Dittman, Patricia Koenig, Thomas Dittman, Loretta Grieswald, Ralph Dittman, John Dittman, and Richard Dittman.

Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Oneida (145 St. Joseph Dr.). A memorial service with Dc. Bobby Doxtator will follow the visitation, starting at 3:00 p.m.
