IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John Patrick
O'Donnell
November 29, 1962 – March 8, 2024
A Life well lived, a Man well loved.
John Patrick O'Donnell, 61, passed away March 8, 2024. He was born to Neil and Rita (Moran) O'Donnell on November 29, 1962. The youngest of eight children, John was always happy and a true blessing to his family and everyone who knew him.
His education began at Donavan School then he attended Sybil Hopp, graduating when he turned 21.
From that point on, he spent his time at Aspiro and Barc Industries. His happiest times were when he was at "Program" at Aspiro. When he was younger and able to, he loved participating in "Special Olympics" and doing the annual "Buddy Walk."
John is survived by his three brothers, Dennis and wife JoAnne, Bill, and Thomas. His four sisters, Peg Axelson, Patt and Gil Nowak, Terry and Richard Albers, and Katie O'Donnell and Tom Goth. He is further survived by two aunts, Margaret Moran, Kay and Norbert Zelton, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a lifelong friend Paul Faccio.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Neil O'Donnell, his grandparents and many Aunts and Uncles.
John's family would like to give special thanks to Shannon Wescott at Aspiro, for the wonderful love and care she gave John. He truly loved her and loved being there because of her.
We would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for stepping in to take care of John and all of us in this difficult time.
Thank you also to Courtney Exford and the caregivers at John's residence for giving him a loving and caring place to live.
