John Henry "Tyke, Johnny, Eagle" Liebergen Jr., 69, of De Pere, WI, passed away on August 9, 2025.
John was born on February 15, 1956, in De Pere, WI, to the late John and Janette (Liesch) Liebergen Sr. He graduated from De Pere High School in 1974. In 1983, John married Amy Kolb, and together they raised two sons, Jake and Mason Liebergen.
He worked at Little Rapids Corporation for 28 years where his one-of-a-kind personality and steady work ethic earned him lasting friendships. John loved being a father and grandfather, following local sports; especially, celebrating this season's Brewers' success and enjoying a cold beer in the backyard with friends and family.
John is survived by his sons; Jake (Trisha) Liebergen and Mason (Lindsey) Liebergen, he was a proud "Pops" to his grandchildren, Mikota and Georgia Liebergen, Carson Meyer, and Kane and Camille Liebergen. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Lisa Roulette, siblings Mike (Jan) Liebergen, Denis Liebergen (Karen Kippenhan), Holly (Richard) Hufford, Pam Kenney, and Kim Schumacher, nieces and nephews Eric Hufford, Joshua (Betsy) Hufford, Ryan (Margaret) Lancaster, and Ashleigh Ward, and his loyal life-long friend Tom Basche.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Sandy Lancaster; grandparents Norman and Irene Liesch; and former in-laws Lloyd and Beverly Kolb.
Family and friends may call at Chicago Street Pub, 875 Heritage Rd. De Pere, WI 54115, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday August 20th, 2025, for a celebration of life for Tyke.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks to his sister Pam who wasn't just his sister but his neighbor and caretaker. Johnny relied on you so much and the family is so thankful you were there. And to his niece Ashleigh Ward, and the ICU staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
