Jose R. Ortiz, 53, of Green Bay, dies on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born July 5, 1960 in Honduras, a son of Jorge and Aurelia Ortiz. Jose enjoyed his gardening with jalapeno peppers, milking cows on large farms, and always loved his time with family and friends. Jose is survived by his parents; children: Laura and John; former wife Janet Ortiz; cousin Heidi Cantillano; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Louisa. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, WI.
