Joseph "Joe" Skenandore, 33, Oneida, passed away on Friday September 11, 2015 after a very short illness. He was born February 3, 1982 to Eugene Newton and Geraldine Skenandore. Joe was a graduate of Seymour High School. He had worked in Appleton at the Creative Center. Joe enjoyed going to races, fishing, hunting, drawing, biking, and all kinds of music. He had traveled the states with his family, and was able to see a lot. Joe was always the life of the party, and was always there to help anybody he could. He always had a smile, and will be missed by all who knew him. Joe is survived by his parents; Gene (Shadow) Newton, and Geraldine Skenandore. He is further survived by his siblings; Robert Rappley, Marina Melchert, Melissa Ponfil, JJ Ponfil, Angela Newton, Robert Lancur, Brandon Siger, Timothy Skenandore, Michael Skenandore, Steven Skenandore, Cheryl Skenandore, as well as his loving Aunt Hazel Skenandore, his special Aunt Glenda Hollsten, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joe was preceded in death by his Uncle Glen Skenandore. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday September 15, 2015. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30pm followed by a Drum Service at 7:00pm to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home, until the service at 10:00am. Burial will follow immediately after the service in the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
