Joseph R. Glowacki, 80, of De Pere died Friday morning October 17, 2014 at a local assisted living facility. The son of Joseph and Josephine (Skaleski) Glowacki was born July 19, 1934 in Chicago. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. On April 20, 1968, he married Jeanette (Manning) Aerts and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2014.
Joe had worked at Milprint Inc. in De Pere for over thirty years prior to retirement. He was an avid stamp and coin collector. Joe enjoyed collectables of all sorts, especially Pez and M & M collectables. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He and Jeanette loved feeding the birds and enjoying wildlife at the cottage.
Survivors include his five step children: Dennis (Betty) Aerts, Barbara (Doug) Rosenberg, Debbie (Bob) De Koch, Brenda (Loren) Baldwin and Karen (Dennis) Blaser, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, his mother, Josephine, his brother, John and sisters, Helen and Eleanor.
Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Family, Suburban Drive at Lourdes Avenue, De Pere from 9:00 to 10:30 am Monday, October 20, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday with Father Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
