Joseph H. Westcott, 87, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born September 17, 1934, in Eau Claire to Herbert and Estelle (Miller) Westcott.
Joe served his country in the USMC from 1953 – 1957. He attained the rank of Corporal. While in service he was honored with the United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
He met Beverly Haskins, and they were married on September 6, 1958, at the First Congregational Church, De Pere on Reid Street.
He was employed at Green Bay Drop Forge as a Machinist, before going to Millprint in De Pere for ten plus years as a Machinist and while there he attended NWTC.
Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and going to the cabin in Lakewood. He didn't mind going to the casino occasionally either to have some fun.
He is survived by his daughter, Terry Westcott and Debbie Westcott. Grandchildren; Brian (Kim), Ashley (Michael), Stephanie (Chad), and Nicholas (Vanessa). Great grandchildren; Collin, Jamison, Jackson, Brienna, and Bronson. Joe is further survived by his niece and nephew Tammy and Troy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Bev on June 17, 2020, and his brother Ronnie.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 4:00PM on Wednesday, June 22nd, with military honors at 5:45PM and a prayer service led by Pastor Nancy Zorn – Micke at 8:00PM.
