Joyce Judith Janssen, 72, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 14, 2013 at a local hospital. Joyce was born September 25, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Richard and Viola (Maciejewski) Kaminski. On December 27, 1971 she married Paul Janssen. Joyce enjoyed her volunteer work at St. Vincent Hospital. Her artistic side came through with her paintings and drawings, her crocheting of hats, mittens, blankets for her family, newborn babies, and cancer patients. Joyce loved writing stories for her granddaughter, gardening, and reading, but most of all she loved her family and grandchildren. All that got to know Joyce loved her from the moment they met. Joyce is survived by her husband of 41 years Paul; her eight children and 12 grandchildren: daughter Nancy (Paul) Geniesse, daughter Andrea (Jeff) Sutton Garret and Alyssa, son Kent Janssen Cheyenne and Mason, daughter Kiz Carter Kwynn and Cory, daughter Kelli (John) Plamann, daughter Pamela (John) Watkins Tressa, Morgan, Kimbre, son Kory (Sherry) Janssen Adam, Ashley, and daughter Brenda (Scott) Gonzalez Peyton. ; her mother Viola Kaminski, and her brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Kaminski. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
