Judith A. "Judy" (Lenss) McGinley, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 4, 2021. The daughter of John and Nellie (Achten) Lenss was born on February 22, 1937. Judy grew up in De Pere was the youngest of ten children. She had a host of neighborhood friends, including lifelong friends Marianne (Patterson) Ariens, Sister Jean Vander Bloomen and Cheri and Cal Martell. On July 13, 1957, Judy married Dennis McGinley at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Together they raised five children. Judy loved crafting, gardening and baking, especially desserts. She was an active member of St. Boniface Church and Our Lady of Lourdes, and for years she helped with the decorating for the holidays at church. Judy is survived by her children and children-in-love, Kathryn McGinley, Mary Pat McGinley, Lori (Bob) Casey, Julie McKibbins and Colleen (Jeff) Scanlan. She is further survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, as well as many other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; parents, John and Nellie; son, Bradley; siblings and other extended family members. Family and friends may visit at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Avenue, De Pere, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Peter Ambting, O.Praem. officiating. Entombment will follow at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
