Karen Ann Boushka, 81, Ashwaubenon, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, May 9, 2024, with family at her side.

She was born October 2, 1942, to the late Robert and Frances (Plouf) Stammer.

On October 29, 1960, she was united in marriage to Raymond Boushka.

Karen had worked at various local Department Stores in retail sales. Karen and Ray also ran KB Cleaning for several years. She and Ray loved to travel and have been to many parts of the country. When the kids were little many family trips were had and they brought lifelong memories. She was a long-time member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.

Karen looked forward to the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, especially the holidays.

She is survived by her children; Dawn (John) Hansen, Cherie Boushka, and Dan (Debbie) Boushka. Her grandchildren; Chris Hansen, Nichole (special friend Craig DeMuth) Hansen, Tyler Boushka, and Joey Boushka.

Five great grandchildren; Chloe, Sophie, Reed, Vayda, and Madilyn. Her sister Arlene Smits, sister-in-law Rosemary (Dave) Enz, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews further survive her.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her parents, her in-laws; Wencil and Marian Boushka, her sister Peg (Lloyd) Knapp, brother-in-law Dick Smits, nephew Curt Knapp, and niece Barb Kornowske.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM May 15, 2024, until time of service at 7:00PM with Deacon Mike Dabeck officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Bay Area Humane Society in Karen's name would be appreciated.
