Karen Danielski, 74, of De Pere, passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at an Appleton hospital. The former Karen Swelle was born on August 22, 1936 in Green Bay and was the daughter of the late Jack and Sylvia Swelle. She was married to Gerald Danielski for many years and he preceded her in death in 1999. Karen enjoyed working as a Nurses Aid at St. Vincent Hospital for over 25 years. She loved spending time with her family and especially grandchildren. She enjoyed games of chance, her trips to Las Vegas and playing cribbage. Karen was a devout Catholic and set a great example with her courageous battle against adversity. Survivors include her three children, James and Patty Danielski, Suzanne Lester, Thomas and Kristy Danielski, grandchildren, Lucas Danielski, Kelli Danielski, Heidi Lester, Jeremy Lester, Andrea (Jason) Imhoff, Kyle (Beth) Danielski, Courtney Danielski, Jacob Danielski, Brock Danielski, Autumn Renier and Jett Renier, as well as great-grandchildren, Daisy Lester and Brogan Danielski. She is also survived by her siblings, Fran Beno, Jamie Tank, and John "Jack" Sweele, nieces , nephews and cousins, and her special cat "Tiggy". Family and friends may call at St. Willebrord's Catholic Church, Downtown Green Bay, after 9:00 am Saturday May 14, 2011 until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday at the church with Father Ken DeGroot, O. Praem., officiating. Entombment in Allouez Mausoleum.
