Kathleen R. Daniel, 76, Greenleaf, passed away peacefully Friday night December 16, 2022. She was born March 3, 1946, to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Wertepny) Pape in Marinette, WI. Kathleen grew up in Menominee MI and She attended Catholic Central in Marinette and Menominee High in Menominee. There, she married John Daniel on February 12, 1966, at St. Williams Parish.

Kathy worked in Menominee at St. Josephs in the kitchen. After St. Josephs she worked various jobs, some of them include, AMI a wafer fabrication plant, a baker in the kitchen at Albertson, and she also cleaned a sports center. At the age of 19 she entered in Miss Wisconsin; she came in as first runner up in 1965. Kathy enjoyed attending craft fairs, crocheting, and she set up crafts at the craft fair; however, it was taking care of her son John Jr. that she cherished most of all.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Daniel, son John Daniel Jr., and siblings Debbie (Tim) Hennessy, Judy (Joe) Hansen, Dale Pape, Kenneth (Theresa) Pape, Sheila Denton, and Pat (Teressa) Pape and many nieces and nephews also survive and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Don, Dennis, Darrell, Doug, Dean, and sister, Rose Anne Pape.

The Requiem Mass for Kathleen will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Chapel, 1782 Chapelle Rue, De Pere, with Fr. A. Dwyer SSPX officiating. Visitation will begin at the chapel at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow Mass in the church cemetery.
