IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathleen Ann
Leblanc
June 4, 1947 – November 4, 2022
Kathleen Ann (Wiesner) Le Blanc was born into Eternal Life on November 4, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 4, 1947 to Harold and Marion Wiesner. Kathleen was reborn in Christ on November 1981 with the Monarch Episcopal Cursillo XIV. Kathleen married David Le Blanc on September 17, 1988 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
When Kathleen was younger, she babysat a lot which made her think that teaching would be her career. One year at the University of Wisconsin Madison and an air flight during a vacation, headed her toward a career in the travel industry instead. She began as a Reservations Clerk and tour guide with Northwest Airlines in Washington D.C. She then returned to Green Bay and was blessed to be with family and special friends. Her travel career then began with AAA in 1978 and ended in retirement 32 years later. Her annual trips to San Francisco visiting her cousin, Dorothy Jane Dube', husband, Mark Slomoff, and family were special to her. Especially as she planned it around Halloween. She always said, San Francisco knew how to celebrate Halloween!
Kathleen is remembered by her family as a faith-filled and caring woman. She showed us how to care and respect others, especially for those less fortunate. Her faith was her rock throughout her life. She was involved with the Altar Guild, Sunday School, and volunteered in the office at St. Anne's Episcopal Church. During her retirement years, she volunteered at the Christian Outreach Store which was dear to her heart.
Family and friends were a very important part of Kathleen's life. She definitely had a special place in her heart for her nephews, niece, great nephews, and great nieces. She always had a special gift for each one of them. Even during her illness, she made sure James and Clara received a Halloween gift from her. Kathleen was a true Packer fan, and it was tradition to take her nephew, David, to one Packer game per season.
Survivors are her stepdaughter, Alicia (David) Bersch, and three brothers, John Wiesner, his son, David, and his daughter Michaela and Michaela's mother, Debra Baron, his son Danny (Katie) and their children, Jonathan, Isaiah, Tobias, and Hawthorne, her brother James Wiesner (Christine), and their children Andy (Lindsay) and their children, James and Clara, daughter Corrie Wallberg (Christopher), and stepson, Bryan, and brother Jeffrey and all her cousins. She is also remembered as part of the "Five Musketeers," Jeri, Mary, Judy, and Donna (deceased). She also leaves behind her special pet, Mengling.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, David Le Blanc, her parents Harold and Marion Wiesner and sister-in-law, Rita Wiesner.
Friends and family may call at St Anne's Episcopal Church, 347 Libal Street, De Pere, WI from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 12. Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Wilson Roane officiating.
A special and heartfelt thank you to Aurora at Home Hospice, especially Leah, who watched over Kathleen the last month and Unity Hospice who guided her during her end-of-life. A very special thank you to Bobbi for caring and watching over Kathleen. There are no words that can express our gratitude. For all her friends and family that sent cards, stopped in, and called her; it was so much appreciated.
If you wish to make a memorial donation, please contribute directly to the De Pere Christian Outreach Food Pantry or the American Cancer Society.
