Kathleen Anne Van Eyck, 68, resident of Menominee, MI, formerly of Green Bay, WI, passed away on March 20, 2018. She was born June 6, 1949 to Richard and Patricia (Kernan) Gille in Green Bay.
She attended St. Joseph Academy, then NWTI. Kathleen married Stephen Van Eyck on September 13, 1974 at St. Peter & Paul Church in Green Bay. She spent her career at Wisconsin Optical and Global Optics, Oaks Family Care and Baird Home.
Kathleen was a member of the St. Peter & Paul Christmas Basket Program and enjoyed serving concessions at athletic events for St. Thomas Moore. She enjoyed extreme couponing, loved bowling, the Brewers, the Packers and NASCAR, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Stephen, mother Patricia, children Stacy (Vern), Amy (Joe), Kevin (Erica), Scott (Abigail), Andy (Holly), Brian (Tiffany), Becky (Dan) and Matt (Megan), as well as her thirteen grandchildren.
She is further survived by her siblings, Mike (Janice), Linda (Dennis), Mark (Kathy), Rick (Brenda) and John (Patty), along with other members of her extended family.
Preceding her in death were her father Richard, infant brother Robert, grandparents Clarence and Emily Gille and parents-in-law John and Bernice Van Eyck. Further preceding Kathleen were her grandchildren, Danny and Blake, as well as her beloved dogs Bandit and Kasey.
Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2018. Visitation will continue Tuesday at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 710 N Baird St, Green Bay, beginning at 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 AM.
