IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy
Phillips
September 13, 1959 – February 1, 2025
Kathleen "Kathy" Mary (Hendricks) Phillips, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend passed away peacefully at her home in De Pere, WI on February 1, 2025 at age 65 with her family by her side. Kathy was the middle of three children, and was born in Green Bay, WI on September 13, 1959 to Gerald and Constance Hendricks. She married Steven Phillips on July 20, 1985 and their 39 year marriage was a testament to unwavering commitment and enduring love, leaving behind a legacy of shared experiences and cherished memories.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, taking little day trips, her Friday fish fry's at Van Abel's (she swore by their fish puffs and cheesy hashbrowns), playing games (dice and sheep head), watching her grandchildren sport and dance events. She found joy in the simple pleasures that brought her family together. Family was the centerpiece of Kathy's life. She loved to have everyone over to her house for holidays, birthday celebrations or just getting together. She always prepared large meals with multiple entrées, sides and desserts. You never left her house hungry, in fact you almost always would leave with leftovers for the next day. She was a giving person and always thought of others first.
Kathy's warmth and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by family and friends. Her legacy of love, positivity, and joyful memories will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her husband: Steven Phillips, De Pere; Daughter: Geri Lynn (Ryan) Laughlin, De Pere; as well as 2 grandchildren: Jaxson and Kinley Laughlin; sisters Leanne Lambert, Green Bay; and Susan Enderby, De Pere; Father-in-law John Phillips, De Pere; Brothers-in-law Randy (Julie) Phillips, Green Bay; David (Kathie) Phillips, Green Bay; Sister-in-law Jeannie (Dave) Bebeau, De Pere; and many loving relatives and friends.
Greeting Kathy in heaven first will be her mother Constance, and her father Gerald. Mother-in-law Betty Phillips; Her brothers-in-law Paul Phillips and Al Lambert.
The Phillips family would like to thank the staff at Unity Hospice and St. Vincent's Home Health for the support, kindness and care they provided Kathy and her family.
