It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Katie Jo (Kazik) Held on Jan 9, 2023 at the age of 47. Katie was born on December 31, 1975 to the parents of Edward Kazik and Cheryl Danelski.

She graduated from West DePere High School where she excelled as a softball pitcher. Katie was a proud patriot and a US Army veteran. Katie will be lovingly remembered by her former husband, Nick Held, and their three children, Rachel Acevedo-Annen (Peter), Caitlyn and Nathan Held, her parents, Edward Kazik (Paula), Cheryl Danelski, her sister Kim Kazik, brother Joseph Kazik (Lauren), step sister Emma Van Hefty (Will) and many nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and stepfather, Ron Danelski.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 in the Spruce Room (lower level) of the De Pere Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Military Honors will conclude the visitation.
