Kelly Lynn Garrity, 57, Lutz, Florida, went to her eternal rest and into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. She was born August 31, 1965, to the late David and Barbara McBean.
Kelly graduated from Green Bay West High School. On May 24, 1985, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joe Garrity, and they were married for 38 years.
Kelly adored her family, especially her husband, Joe, and their children. Kelly loved watching old movies, reading, taking care of animals and was known for loving her country and Backing the Blue. A devout Catholic, Kelly had a beautiful and loving devotion to our Blessed Mother.
She is survived by her husband, Joe, their children, Robert, Marianne, and Michael Joseph, her sister, Kerry (Darren) Phipps, her foster parents, Dick and Donna Staeven, siblings, Rick Staeven, Debbie (Paul) Watruba, Rocky Staeven, and Diane Staeven. Kelly is further survived by foster mother, Marlene Rucinski, siblings, Dean Rucinski and Lee Rucinski, and Joe's siblings, Kathy (Mike) Karbe, Mary (Dean) Martin, George (Jeanne) Garrity, Rob (Ryoko) Garrity, James (Eiko) Garrity and Patty Beaumia. Kelly is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kelly was preceded in death by her biological parents, by her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Mary Garrity, and by foster father, Dennis Rucinski.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 5th. A Remembrance and Rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m., to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue Saturday, May 6th, at St. Michael's Church, 1782 Chapelle Rue, De Pere, from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. A Requiem Mass for Kelly will take place at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Andrew Dwyer SSPX officiating.
