Obituary

Kenneth "Bear" T. Keyser, 70, West De Pere, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. He was born October 27, 1952, to the late Kenneth L. and Carol (Hentz) Keyser. Bear was a 1971 graduate of West De Pere High School.

He was always creative and artistic, and one of the funniest kids growing up. Bear loved the outdoors, which lead him down his path to explore this beautiful country. When he was in California as a roadie for Bob Seger, they'd call him "Ken Seger", a title he was proud of. When he made it to Wyoming, he fit right in the little town of New Castle. He enjoyed the fun and the beauty of the area.

Bear then went on to Devil's Tower and the Black Hills, which he fell in love with that entire area.

He is survived by his loving "Twisted Sister", Cheryl, Kris (Paul) Berken, Gail (Larry) Robinson, and brother Jon. Nieces and nephews; Sara (Dan) Fabich, Ben (Eleni) Berken, Brady Keyser, and great niece and nephew Eliee and Jack.

Bear was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kurt.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 4:00PM, until time of service at 7:00PM.

Special thanks to the beautiful staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour for watching over Ken until the end.
