Larry Allen Giese, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at the family cabin in Crandon on Friday, August 18, 2023. He was born in Green Bay on April 2, 1958, to Ervin and Betty (Brown) Giese. He graduated from West De Pere High School in 1976 and continued his education at NWTC. Larry worked at Green Bay Correctional Institute for several years and finished his career at Country Visions Co-op.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting sports and anything outdoors. Larry was a huge history buff, with a great interest in World War I & II. Larry was very knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building trades. He was always willing to help a family or friend out with their projects.

He is survived by his sisters, Lynn (Russ) Reynolds, Lea Ann (Rick) Johnson, niece and nephews Tracy Reynolds, Russell (Emily) Reynolds, James (Shannon) Johnson and Rev. Paul Johnson, great nephews Jerry, Sawyer, and Oliver Johnson, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may come to call on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere, WI from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 PM. A service will be held following the visitation with Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
