Larry S. Larsen, 88 of Green Bay, WI, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital on March 5, 2026. He was born to the late Walter and Beatrice (Stehle) Larsen in Green Bay. He graduated from East High School in 1955. Larry worked at James River Paper Mill for 11 years, and then after that for Wisconsin Public Service Pulliam Plant for 33 years.
Larry had a love of fishing and hunting and riding his Harley. He loved being at his cabin and splitting wood with Steve and Bryan. Larry also had his deer camp group, and they have been hunting with each other for over 50 years. He always had a story to share. Larry also loved spending time with his family and was very selfless. He was always there to lend a helping hand.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Beverly, his children, Cheryl (Todd) LeSage, Laurie (Gerald) Thyes, grandsons Nick (Sadie) LeSage, Jeremy Thyes, and 3 great-grandchildren Lennox, Parker, and Grady. He is further survived by his sister Mary Schaut, and his nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Ron Schaut.
Family and friends may call on Friday, March 13 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry’s honor to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
