Lawrence Phillip "Larry" Worth, 72, passed away following complications from a surgery late Thursday evening, March 14, 2019. The son of Bernard "Barney" and Mary (Connelly) Worth was born on May 6, 1946. Larry grew up in Chicago and he played baseball for the University of Illinois. He served his country as a Marine in Vietnam. Throughout his life, he lived in New York, Minneapolis and other cities around the United States. Most recently, he resided in Kingsford, Michigan. On August 14, 1987, he married his wife Sharon in Iron Mountain. Larry spent many years as a counselor and helped countless friends of Bill W. Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon, and step-sons Troy, Todd (Tracey), Phill (Millie) and Brock (Roberta). He is further survived by his grandchildren, Brock Jr., Raine and Brianna. Private family services will be held.
