Lauraine Paul Van Gheem, age 91, of De Pere, WI passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was born on August 1, 1929 the daughter of the late Julius and Lillian (Antila) Paul. She married Merlin F. "Boots" Van Gheem on March 7, 1947. She was a homemaker. Lauraine loved hunting, fishing, doing word games and casino trips with Laurelyn. Lauraine loved to travel and spend time at her home in Crivitz. She is survived by her son, Alex (Diane) Van Gheem, and granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Van Gheem; Lauraine is further survived by her sisters, Laurelyn (Robert) Heler and Laurinda (Thomas) Baker; and sister-in-law, Elaine (Gerald) VanRens and several nieces and nephews and long time friends, Jean Gilson and Mary Sharp. Lauraine was preceded in death by her husband Merlin; her parents; and three sisters, Lillian Eggert, Lucretia Luedeman, and Lauretta Walton. A memorial service will be celebrated on Lauraine's birthday next year. She will be buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in De Pere. Ryan Funeral is assisting the family.
