Laurie B. Kropp, 59, Howard, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday January 5, 2019. She was born in Green Bay on September 19, 1959 to the late Kenneth (Carol) Gerrits and Phyllis Smith. On November 11, 1998 she married Jim Kropp. Together she and Jim owned and ran Baba Louies Bar in De Pere. Laurie enjoyed traveling and entertaining at her home, which she transformed with her love of decorating for all the holidays. It was the cherished time with family and friends that Laurie, being the outgoing person she was looked forward to the most. She is survived by her husband, Jim, children; Erin (Mike) Hietpas, Jacob (Madeaya) Myers, Dylan Kropp, Sidney Kropp, and her very special grandchildren Laine and Chance. Laurie is further survived by her siblings; Bobbie (Sal) Serbin, Mike (Cindi) Gerrits, Chris (Bryan) Van Lanen, Keith (Debbie) Gerrits, Peter (Paula) Gerrits, as well as her sister-in-law, Jane DeChamps, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Laurie was preceded in death by Jim's parents and her brother-in-law. Friends may call after 3:00PM on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N.
