Lavanda Carr Zoeckler, 97, of De Pere, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born January 27, 1917 in Clermont, IA to the late Dr. Leslie L. and Lavanda (Gardner) Carr. Lavanda (Laddie) was a graduate of the University of Iowa. In 1940 she was united in marriage to John Lewis Zoeckler who preceded her in death in 2007. She was an active P.E.O member for most of her life. Laddie lived in Palm Desert, California prior to moving to Wisconsin in 2007. Lavanda is survived by her 4 sons; John Zoeckler, Geoff Zoeckler, William Zoeckler and Frank Zoeckler. She is further survived by 5 grandsons: JL, Geoffrey, Brandon, Brett and Blake, as well as 7 great granddaughters. A family memorial will be held at Lake Almanore, CA at a later date.
