LaVerne M. Enderby, 79, De Pere passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 4, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born March 10, 1930 in Waupaca Co. to the late Lawrence and Mildred (Geiger) Sauerhammer. On June 19, 1948 she married Ralph Enderby at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay. LaVerne is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in De Pere where she had been the coordinator of the funeral lunches and the ladies sewing mission groups. She loved to cook and sew for her family and her church. LaVerne also cherished her time at their cottage at Lake Mary were she loved to fish. Her dedication to her family was her number one priority in life. She is survived by her husband Ralph, her children; Sandra Fenlon, Steven (Darlene) Enderby, Gail (Keith) Sengbusch, Kay (Scott) Harrison, and her daughter in law Ellen Enderby. LaVerne is further survived by her grandchildren; Nicole (Adam) Wayman, Kyle Fenlon, Melissa Enderby, Bliss and Casey Sengbusch, Tyler, Taylor, Kaitlyn Harrison, and her great grandchild daughter Aubrey Waymen. She is also survived by two sisters; Shirley (Walter) Cayemberg, Carol (Asahel) Enderby, her sister in law; Esther Sauerhammer, and brother in law; Dave Massey. Ralph's family further survive; Mary, Marshall (Barb), Asahel (Carol), and Glenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bruce, her son in law Gordy, her brothers Roy, and Donald, and her sisters; Karen and Elaine. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4-8pm Thursday. Visitation will continue after 9am Friday at St. John Lutheran Church 1700 Lost Dauphin Road De Pere until time of service at 11am with Rev.
