IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lawrence "Larry"
Peters
October 16, 1951 – February 28, 2025
Larry Keith Peters (LKP), 73, passed away Friday February 28th 2025 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters after a long battle with Cancer.
Larry was born October 16, 1951 in Green Bay to the late Jerome and Gloria Peters. He married the love of his life Dana (Bowers) Peters, daughter of the late Cliff and Ruth Bowers, on July 7, 1971. Larry and Dana had 4 daughters Barbara (Shaun) Shuck, Rebecca Burdick (life partner John), Kerrie (Shawn) VerVaeren, and Kelly (Kevin) Coonen; 9 Grandchildren Ashley (Tony) Moon, Andy Shuck, Valarie Shuck, Dylan Peters, Kellie VerVaeren, Carter VerVaeren, Andrew (Emily) Wojkiewicz, Morgan (Trevor) Hartjes, Kiera Coonen; and 9 Great Grandchildren. He is survived by two brothers Steve (Diane) Peters and Tom (Jody) Peters. He was preceded in death by his little sister Barbie Peters.
Larry worked at Tectron Tube for many years before becoming part owner. After retiring from Tectron he went on to own a rental company and starting a successful wedding and event rental business.
After those endeavors, he heard the North Woods call his name. Larry and Dana settled down in Tipler, WI. He was a man that knew a little bit about everything. He was known as the "go to guy" with many friends at all the local spots. He enjoyed gardening, welding, woodworking, and the tranquility of wildlife and nature.
When he knew his time on earth was coming close to an end, he and Dana moved back to De Pere to be close to family.
The family would like to thank the Unity Hospice Team, especially Julie and Holly, who were a blessing in his final months.
