Lee David Noel 87, of De Pere, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 9, 2026, with his loving wife of 64 years by his side. Lee was born on May 13, 1939, in Oconto, Wisconsin. He graduated from Premontre Highschool in 1957.

Following high school, Lee enlisted in the United States Navy, where he spent much of his time serving on aircraft carriers. His navy years helped shape his hard-working resourcefulness and the dependable man he would become.

On December 30, 1961, he married the love of his life Audrey Bougie. Together they had 3 daughters, Kelly, Sherri, and Penny.

After completing his military service, Lee returned home to Green Bay to work alongside his father in the construction business. He soon realized construction was not his calling and found his true passion for working with people in the retail industry. He began working for a department store as a toy buyer, which became the beginning of a long successful career in the toy industry.

Over the years, Lee held many roles, including new product development, licensing, and eventually executive vice president. He was a talented businessman who enjoyed building relationships and developing new ideas, which is why he continued to work well into his 70s.

Lee enjoyed spending time at the cottage as well wintering in Florida. Lee was an avid tennis player and golfer. He had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever he went and was known for his easy-going nature, sense of humor and genuine interest in others.

Lee is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Kieran) Byrne, Sherri (Kevin) Fredrick, and Penny (Craig) Kaczorowski, as well as his grandchildren Alex (Kelsey), David (Lauren), Riley (Nick), Ben (Lindsay), Collin (Megan), Casey (Liliya), and great grandchildren Stella, Kieran, Liam, Mia, Margot, Quinn, Beau, Emma, Easton, and Mila. He is further survived by his brother, Dennis (Linda) and sister Mary (Steve), sister-in-law Elaine Noel, as well as many other brothers and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alton and Helen and brother Don.

Family and friends may come to call on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1305 Lourdes Ave, De Pere. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin immediately following visitation at 11:00 am with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating.
