Obituary

Lee David Wagner, 95 passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2024.He was born in Marinette, WI on January 23,1929 to Herman and Hazel (Gervais) Wagner. Lee graduated from Marinette High School in 1947. After graduation Lee moved to Milwaukee and was employed by Chain Belt. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged with the Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars and United Nations Service Medal. Returning home Lee continued his education earning an associates degree. Lee continued to work for Rexnord as a Cost Estimator. Later years he worked for Alloy Products in Waukesha, WI as a Senior Cost Estimator until retirement. In his free time Lee belonged to a bowling League where he met his wife Carol (Hauswirth). They were married on November 16, 1968 in Milwaukee County. Together they enjoyed bowling, golfing and camping at Rock River Leisure Estates.

Lee is survived by his daughter Robin (Ryan) Gerhardt, Son Michael (Tiffney) Wagner, Stepson Samuel Schoonover, Grandchildren Nicholas (Helena) Gerhardt, Nathaniel Gerhardt, Jacob (Samantha) Gerhardt, Zachary Gerhardt, Jayden Gerhardt, Jordan Gerhardt, Brooklyn Gerhardt, Andrew Wagner, Shannon (Zach) Hesprich, Rachel Wagner, Alaina Wagner, Great-Granddaughter Shiloh Gerhardt, Goddaughter Faith (Paul) Miller and his sister Lois (Edward) Pristel.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Wagner, stepson Myron (Eddy) Wagner, his parents, brother Ralph (Anna) Wagner, and sister Marion (Jack) LaFever.

The family will be returning Lee to his final resting grounds at Catholic Cemetery of La Crosse.
