Lenore Sophie Luberda, 93, of De Pere, died Friday, March 7, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late William and Sophie (Van Vonderen) Doeren, she was born in De Pere on May 18, 1920. On that morning, the church bells were ringing. On May 18, 1946, she married Bruno Luberda at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1972.
Lenore was a talented homemaker and greatly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her family was her top priority. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Lenore loved bowling, playing cards, bingo, slots, and traveling.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia (Tom) Hosking , Mary Albers, Dale (Kelly) Luberda, Lynn Luberda, Allen (Mary) Luberda, Alice (Terry) Erieau, and Lori (Don) Wagner, grandchildren, Chris, Sean, Jeni, Chad, Kristy, Suni, Mike, Sarah, Eric, Amanda, Brittany, Travis, Colin, and Evan, 20 great-grandchildren, one sister, Doris Eutizzi, as well as a brother-in-law, Mitch and three sisters-in-law, Fran, Babe and Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bruno, stepfather Hank Drewiske brothers, Earl, Don, Fran Doeren, Roger Drewiske, and sister, Ruth Dessart.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 2:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday March 11, 2014. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 pm Tuesday with Father Ryan Krueger, from the Quad Parishes, officiating.
