Leo J. Adams Jr., 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 13, 2024. He was born in Oconto, Wisconsin, on December 19, 1952, the son of the late Leo and Carol Adams Sr.

Leo grew up in Green Bay where he attended West High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. Trained as a sharpshooter, he spent his time in the military deployed in Germany; where his fellow service men would remark on how speedily he would drive down the Autobahn.

Once out of active duty, Leo enjoyed life among family, friends, and in nature. Whether fishing or hunting, he particularly enjoyed his time spent with the hawks, eagles, and wolves. Music was also a passion of his, the songs of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, and Pink Floyd boomed from car windows. Affectionately known as "Lippy", Leo was known for his sarcastic wit and humor.

Leo is survived by his daughters; Carma L. (Scott) Wesolowski of Green Bay, and Tara J. Edwards of Manitowoc; grandchildren, Hadlee (7), Harper (4), Izaiha (17), and Veda (2); siblings, Linda (Adams) Zirbel, Debra (Adams) Lewis, Mary "Lulu" Adams, Cindi Adams- Bonville, Julie Adams, Richard "Rick" (Jean) Adams, Lisa (Steve) Adams-Bobnock, Jeffrey Adams; step-sister, Nancy Crofoot, many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Carol Adams Sr., brother Ron "Rotten" Adams, and niece Erica Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. for Leo at Perkins Park, 600 N. Fisk Street, Green Bay on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
