Leona R. Peters, 81, formerly of De Pere, passed away on Thursday May 11, 2017. She was born September 5, 1935. She graduated from De Pere High School and on February 11, 1956 married Allen O. Peters. Leona was an avid reader, enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Frank (Karen) Peters, Mark (Sheri) Peters, Bob Peters, and Brian Peters. Leona is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, as well as her brother Sylvester Guyette and close friends Lisa abd Alan. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen in 2010, her daughter Karen, granddaughter Joanna and great grandson Victor Jr. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere after 9:00AM Monday May 15, 2017. A Prayer Service led by Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen will take place at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
