Levi Evan Turney, 17, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly at home following a lifelong battle with Menkes disease. The son of Kateria Cadotte and Richard Turney was born on February 18, 2007.

Levi attended Seymour Schools, enjoyed his cartoons and loved family visits. Despite being unable to speak, his personality shone through and he knew how to make himself heard. Levi was very loved by his entire family.

He is survived by and loved by his parents, Kateria and Richard; siblings, Mariah and Amari; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth; aunts, Rochelle, Sarol, Naomi and Judy; uncles Ray and Robert; cousins, Bishop, Randall, Okwi, Lahne, Diamond, Jonas, DiAngelo and Benz; as well as other extended family.

Levi was preceded in death by his grandfather, Spider; great-grandmother Judy; Uncle Randall; great-aunt Paula and cousin Bad Bear.

Family and friends may visit at Levi's home, W285 Redtail Drive, beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Visitation will continue until 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024. A feast for Levi will follow.
