Linda Lee Keegan peacefully departed at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, WI, on January 4, 2024, at the age of 80. Preceded in death by her spouse of 52 years, Terence J. Keegan, and her parents, Loretta and LeRoy Schmiling of Maplewood, WI, along with brother-in-laws Tony Kerscher and Rollie Bochek of Maplewood, WI.
Fondly remembered by daughters Kathleen (Kathy) Ver Boort of DePere, WI, and Karla Keegan of Omaha, NE, as well as Kathy's children Morgan and Brooke, and Karla's children, Kaden and Kassidy. Survived by sisters Judy Bochek of Maplewood, WI, and Pat and Richard Wickman of Sturgeon Bay, WI, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews across the United States.
Born in Algoma, WI, on December 3, 1943, Linda attended Maplewood Grade School and graduated from Algoma High School in 1962. Her career spanned roles at the Green Bay Board of Education, Kelly Services, Petroleum Equipment Services, and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Linda was a volunteer with the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau. She and her husband Terry were season ticket holders for the Green Bay Packers for over 30 years and in their earlier years attended most home games.
Linda was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in De Pere, WI. Linda cherished gardening and was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Kathy and Karla as well as her grandchildren Morgan, Brooke, Kaden, and Kassidy.
Linda's passions extended to traveling with Terry, exploring Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, and various parts of the USA. Residents of Florida for several years embraced cities like Fort Pierce, North Fort Myers, Estero, and Lake Havasu City, AZ.
In sickness and health, Linda remains cherished as a wonderful sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Visitation will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2066 Lawrence Dr., De Pere, WI, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with prayers and service at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at Ryan Funeral Home. Linda Keegan will find her final resting place at Allouez Mausoleum on Webster Ave in Green Bay on Tuesday, January 16th.
