Lloyd J. Brazeau, 80, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2016. He was born March 4, 1936 in Escanaba, MI to Paul and Caroline Brazeau. On January 31, 1959 Lloyd married the former Carol Gabourie in Escanaba, MI.
Lloyd attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a Master's Degree from UW- Milwaukee. He owned Century Ridge, CBRF in Bellevue. Lloyd enjoyed golfing as much as he could, playing cards - especially poker with his family, traveling, and being a fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 57 years Carol Brazeau; four children: Sandra (Don) Hendricks, Mike (Cindy Chavez) Brazeau, Jill Baeten, and Paul Brazeau; his beloved granddaughters Amanda Hendricks and Carrie Hendricks; sister Shirley Couchene; brother Lowell (Jackie) Brazeau; two sisters-in-law Kaye Brazeau and Nancy Brazeau. He is further survived by Carol's brother Steve (Linda) Gabourie; Carol's brother-in-law Les Desmond; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Caroline; three brothers Donald, Paul, and Bill Brazeau; brother-in-law Ken Couchene; his father and mother-in-law William and Beatrice Gabourie; and sister-in-law Nancy Desmond.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1306 Lourdes Ave, De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem. officiating. Burial will occur in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
