Lloyd C. Daul, 87 passed away on Tuesday, November 28 with family by his side. He was born on July 12, 1936 to Maurice and Mary (Vande Hey) Daul.
Lloyd attended De Pere High School. He then served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, stationed in Fort Whittier, Alaska. Upon his discharge, he returned home and took over the family farm. On January 24, 1959, Lloyd married Elizabeth Rukamp at Holy Trinity Church in Pine Grove. Together they farmed until their retirement in 1998.
Lloyd enjoyed his many social activities, whether it be the local fireman picnics, church picnics, farm auctions, casino trips, or a good sheepshead game. Lloyd loved his country music and polka dancing. He was a longtime member of the Ledgeview Riders Snowmobile Club and St. Mary's Church of Glenmore.
Lloyd is survived by his spouse Betty; children Jackie (Bill) Kempen, Randy (Vicky) Daul, Mike (Maria) Daul, Sandy (Dean) Smerchek, and Pam (Artie) Routhier. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tracy (Travis), Corey (Natasha), Krystle (Jason), Adam (Lindsay), Alyssa (Jordan), Stephanie (Mitch), Jeremy (Lindsey), Newton (Jordy), Dalton, Nathan, and Evan, as well as 19 great-grandchildren. Lloyd is further survived by numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Mary Daul, his brothers and sisters-in-law Francis (Marilyn) Daul, Ronald (Betty Lou), and grandson Eric Daul.
Family and friends may come to call at St. Mary Church – Glenmore, 5832 Big Apple Rd, De Pere, WI 54115 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will be held in the cemetery following Mass.
