Lloyd Lewis Kolb, 95, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 5th, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1929, to the late Antone (Anthony) and Pearl Kolb.
Lloyd married Beverly Schmechel on April 24, 1954. They shared 64 wonderful years until Bev's passing in 2018. Lloyd was self-employed and had his own business, Lloyd's Floor Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, and working with his hands on woodworking projects. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps. and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW, and American Legion.
Lloyd is survived by his children: Patricia Klaus (Rick), Joseph (Bobbie) Kolb, Sue Kolb, Amy Liebergen, Tina (Derek) Young, Joy (Tony) Maguire; grandchildren Danielle (Scot) Hulshizer, Rebecca (Mike) White, April (Keith) Dart, Tory (Jared) Homme, Michael (Lauren) Kolb, Ruthie Kolb, William "BJ" (Erin) Kolb, Jake (Trisha) Liebergen, Mason (Lindsey) Liebergen, Mariah Young, Miranda Young; great-grandchildren Ella White, Hunter Dart, Morgan Homme, Max Homme, Mikota Liebergen, Georgia Liebergen, Carson Meyer, Kane Liebergen, Camilla Liebergen, Luca Kolb and Nora Kolb.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Beverly Kolb, his son Michael (Curly) Kolb, sister Ruby Ahasay, and brothers Don Kolb, Gene Kolb, Darrell Kolb, William (Bill) Kolb, and Jerome (Jerry) Kolb.
Friends and extended family members may call at Resurrection Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Green Bay on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family. To send condolences please visit www.ryanfh.com.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Woodside Lutheran Nursing Home, who made Dad's stay comfortable and provided exceptional care to Dad. We also like to extend a thank you to Unity Hospice. The staff was a tremendous help in guiding the family through this transition.
In lieu of flowers friends and family may make donations to St. Jude's Children on behalf of Lloyd Kolb.
